BLOOM BUCKETS

Our blooms can be purchased by the bucket for events, weddings, or simply for the fun of playing with flowers. Our DIY wedding flower buckets are filled with seasonal blooms grown on our flower farm in Grey County, Ontario. These buckets of locally grown wedding flowers are perfect for couples who want to create their own bouquets, centrepieces, and ceremony arrangements using fresh, seasonal flowers from a local farm.

Buckets are available May through October for pickup at our flower farm in Holland Centre, Grey County, serving couples across Grey County, Collingwood, Owen Sound, and the Greater Toronto Area. Delivery to Toronto is also available for pick up at The Local Flower Collective in the Junction. ​​

We got a DIY bucket for our wedding and supplemented it with wildflowers and ones we grew in our garden. Everything turned out beautifully, and the bucket was very reasonably priced! Gillian was so friendly, and quick to respond and answer any questions. She even helped pick what flowers would work best with our colour scheme! Buckets contain a mix of focal and filler stems - always the best of what is blooming at that time! We do not guarantee availability of specific floral varieties, but we do our best to accommodate desired palettes and vibes. Some premium blooms are not included. Single varieties may be purchased on mass and are priced separately.​

Each bucket contains 60-80 stems at a cost of $125 +hst

How many buckets do you need for a wedding?

This really depends on the number of bouquets and arrangements you want, as well as the design aesthetic you're going for. Couples might order anywhere from 3 to 12 buckets, it really depends on so many factors. Below are some general rules of thumb to help you determine how many buckets you might need, very much vibe dependent!

  • bridal bouquet ~ 50 stems

  • bridesmaid bouquet ~ 35 stems

  • boutonniere and corsage ~ 3-5 stems

  • vase arrangement ~ 50-100 stems

  • centerpiece ~ 30 stems

  • bud vases ~ 3-5 stems
